Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026 · Draft — review by counsel before public launch.
Information we process
- Search queries and purpose selections you submit.
- A hashed version of your IP address (never the raw IP) and a timestamp, for rate-limiting and an audit log.
- Your email, if you sign in via magic link.
- Publicly available data about third parties, retrieved from search engines and licensed data providers at query time and cross-referenced for display.
How we use it
To run and rank searches, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, maintain a subpoena-ready audit trail of search purposes, and operate the opt-out and suppression system. We do not sell personal information (see our Do Not Sell notice).
Data-source providers
We query providers such as Google Programmable Search, Bing Web Search, PeopleDataLabs, and (for Deep Search) Whitepages Pro. We display extracted, cross-verified fields with citations — never raw source pages.
Your choices and rights
- Removal / opt-out: anyone may remove their listing at /optout. Removed entries are suppressed from all future searches within 24 hours.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” We do not sell your data; see Do Not Sell My Info.
Retention
Audit records (hashed IP, purpose, timestamp) are retained for legal compliance. Suppression entries are retained permanently so removals stay in effect.
